This course provides a thorough introduction to vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (vNOTES)—a cutting-edge, minimally invasive surgical approach. Participants will gain a solid foundation in the background, advantages, limitations, and current evidence surrounding vNOTES.

The curriculum explores indications, contraindications, and the boundaries of this technique, followed by step-by-step guidance on both basic and complex hysterectomies using vNOTES. Special modules cover challenging scenarios such as obesity, prior abdominal surgeries, emergency procedures, re-vNOTES, and even applications during pregnancy.

In addition, the course delves into adnexal surgeries via vNOTES, including ectopic pregnancy management, ovarian cystectomy, and salpingectomy. It also covers prolapse repair techniques, such as high uterosacral ligament suspension and lateral suspension with mesh, demonstrating the versatility of vNOTES in pelvic reconstructive surgery.

Operating Theatre Sessions:

• Live vNOTES hysterectomy on one patient
• Live salpingectomy via vNOTES on one patient

Through a blend of theoretical insight and real-time surgical experience, this course equips participants to safely and effectively expand their gynaecological surgical practice using vNOTES.
