This comprehensive course offers an in-depth exploration of female urinary incontinence through the lens of Integral Theory, combining theoretical knowledge with practical surgical skills. It begins with a clear understanding of Transobturator Tape (TOT) and Tension-Free Vaginal Tape (TVT), covering their mechanisms, benefits, limitations, and the latest findings in medical literature.

Participants will learn to evaluate and choose the safest and most effective surgical techniques, enhanced with expert tips and tricks. Special focus is given to the use of pelvic floor ultrasound, both in diagnosing and managing urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, with real-time, hands-on training.

The course also covers modern approaches including mini-slings, perioperative care, postoperative follow-up, complication management, and the handling of mesh erosion. A dedicated segment addresses the use of cystoscopy in urogynaecology, with practical sessions on identifying, setting up, and operating cystoscopy equipment.

Hands-on sessions include:

• Real-patient application of pelvic floor ultrasound
• Cystoscopy practice during live surgical procedures
• Operating theatre training with three patients undergoing TOT, TVT, and mini-sling procedures

This intensive, practical course equips participants with the latest knowledge and skills to confidently manage female urinary incontinence using a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach.
